What is a Spectank®?
Spectank® is an insulated stainless steel heated soak tank with a thermostatically
controlled heating element.
CARBSOLVE® is a non-toxic, non-corrosive and Global Green Tag certified cleaning
powder specifically formulated to remove carbon and other dirt.
Together, Spectank® and CARBSOLVE® will clean carbon and sanitise your kitchen
cooking and baking equipment.
How Does a Spectank® Work?
A Spectank® is filled with water and CARBSOLVE®
The solution is then heated to 80°C, ensuring that harmful bacteria will be killed
Soiled items are soaked in this solution for a period of between 1 and 24 hours, depending on the severity of the carbon build-up and type of soiling
The cleaned & sanitised items are then removed from the solution and rinsed off with clean water
Without the use of harsh chemicals and valuable staff time, your items are now ready for use
CARBSOLVE® has activators which are released at various stages ensuring that the solution remains active for 30 days
On a monthly cycle, a technician will service your Spectank®, which includes draining, cleaning and refilling the soak tank as well as all repairs and maintenance

CARBSOLVE®, the chemical which goes into the tank. Under normal circumstances,
the Spectank® only requires this once a month. Thereafter, the Spectank® is
switched on, and left on 24/7.

1. Less Electricity – The Spectank® remains on 24/7 and it has a built in
thermostat to regulate the temperature, ensuring that the water is always at
80°C. The tank is also insulated ensuring that the temperature is maintained
